To our media outlets and other promotional partners: please accept our apologies in the lack of advanced notice on these records. Shortly after these were loaded for release, we were derailed by the Northern California fires (fortunately not losing any property like of our neighbors). Navigating disasters seems to be a theme for the label over our 30-year history.
Both records are a LONG time in the making and are appropriate bookends for this snapshot of Otto's Revenge and Alien Feedings history since the band was formed in 1989 and the label not long after.
And Now They're After Me is a live recording by Otto's Revenge from a 1990 show. It was recorded simply with a boom box and received mastering for this release from Prairie Sun Recording Studios in Northern California. The band wanted to put out this record to capture the early, punk roots of the band and the spirit of the band at those early shows. They wanted it to have that rough, rawness and personality that was the formative early months of Otto's Revenge.
Mothership Cahokia serves as the opposite bookend - at least for now - to the Otto's Revenge legacy. The Guide to Fast Living is the solo project of Kurt Hoffmann, lead singer, sometimes guitarist, and co-founder of Otto's Revenge. Recording of this record started in 2014, but like many Otto's related projects, was derailed at many turns. However, the old Otto's Revenge persistence finally is bringing it to the light of day to present another chapter in the legacy.
